Bill Hinchcliffe serves as Radiation Safety Officer and Assistant Radiation Safety Officer for Bridgeport Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital, respectively, in Connecticut. He earned his BS in radiological health science from Purdue University and his MS in Health Physics from Idaho State University. In his current role, Bill oversees the day to day operations of the YNHH NRC broadscope license and also manages the Bridgeport Hospital specific scope license. Since 2010, Bill has gained direct medical health physics experience including therapeutic nuclear medicine administrations, low and high-dose rate brachytherapy, and Gamma Knife treatments.
