Join the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) on 17 June, 1 July, and 15 July 2021, as they host a virtual workshop series: COVID-19: Disaster Preparedness and Vulnerable Populations. This series will discuss questions about disaster preparedness for vulnerable populations during three one-hour webinars on the following topics:

  • Disaster planning and response activities that meet the needs of the whole community
  • Home health workers providing services to individuals living with disabilities and older adults
  • The needs of individuals living with disabilities and older adults and efforts to include these populations in disaster planning.
