SUMMARY:2026 NIST-NSF Disaster Resilience Research Symposium
DESCRIPTION:In cooperation with the National Science Foundation\, the Engineering Laboratory at NIST in Gaithersburg will host the 9th annual symposium on August 18–19\, 2026\, highlighting recipients of the Disaster Resilience Grant Research Program. This in-person event will feature a range of research focused on disaster resilience. \nGrant recipients will present findings and insights from their work in areas such as: \n\nDisaster and Failure Studies\nNational Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program\nNational Windstorm Impact Reduction Program\nReduced Ignition of Building Components in Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) Fires Project\n\nVisit the event page for more information.
