Dr. Aliza I. Sacknovitz is a Senior Investigative Scientist in NSF OIG’s Research Integrity and Administrative Investigations Division. Her casework focuses on research misconduct in NSF proposals and awards; violations of NSF regulations, policies, or directives; and other allegations that, if substantiated, would result in administrative action. Dr. Sacknovitz joined NSF OIG as an intern in 2005 and re-joined the office as an Investigative Scientist in 2006, after completing her PhD in Linguistics from Georgetown University. In 2017, she was promoted to her current position.
Dr. Sacknovitz lives in Maryland with her husband and three children.
