Brian Nosek co-developed the Implicit Association Test, significantly advancing research and public interest in implicit bias. He co-founded Project Implicit to promote implicit bias research, the Society for the Improvement of Psychological Science to enhance research culture, and the Center for Open Science to improve research rigor and transparency. Nosek is the Executive Director of COS and a professor at the University of Virginia. His research aims to understand why behaviors and systems often contradict intentions and values, develop solutions to align practices with values, and enhance research credibility and culture to accelerate scientific progress.
