Dr. Christy Chang is an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB). She received her PhD in Human Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Johns Hopkins University, and she has received multiple R01s and R21s to support her research on the genetic components of complex diseases. Dr. Chang was trained as a grant writing coach by the NIH-sponsored National Research Mentoring Network. She is currently a senior program advisor at UMB’s Center for Advanced Research Training and Innovation, as well as the director of UMB’s Institute of Clinical Translational Research KL2 Mentored Career Development Program.
