Erika Edwards, MS

Erika Edwards is a Technical Information Specialist at the National Agricultural Library’s (NAL) Animal Welfare Information Center (AWIC). Erika received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University. She graduated in May 2016 and continued her education by pursuing a Master of Science degree at the University of Tennessee. Her research involved dairy cattle behavior and welfare and specifically focused on cows’ environmental preferences and behaviors while giving birth. After graduating in 2018, Erika worked as a beef and dairy cattle nutrition consultant for Purina Animal Nutrition before joining AWIC in January 2021.
