Farzan Sasangohar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University and an Assistant Professor in the Center for Outcomes Research (Primary) and Department of Surgery (Secondary) at Houston Methodist Hospital. He received his PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2015. His research interests are centered around understanding and improving human decision-making and performance in multi-task, safety-critical work environments using a wide range of analytical techniques and technological innovations such as remote continuous monitoring and connected integrated systems.
