Liane Moneta-Koehler is the Assistant Provost for Research Integrity and Compliance at Vanderbilt University. She oversees compliance programs in the areas of research security, export controls, and human subjects research, and she supports the research community with evolving federal policies. She previously served as Director of Research Development and Support in the Office of the Vice Provost and as a postdoctoral fellow in Vanderbilt’s School of Medicine Basic Sciences. She received her PhD from Peabody College, where she studied math cognition, an MA in Instructional Technology from Columbia Teachers College, and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
