Natalie Rubio, PhD

Tufts University

Natalie is the Executive Director of The Cellular Agriculture Commercialization Laboratory at Tufts University, working to convert early-stage innovations to impactful technologies to reduce the cost, increase the scale, and improve the quality of cellular agriculture products. She has a BS Chemical & Biological Engineering (University of Colorado, Boulder – 2015) and a PhD Biomedical Engineering/Cellular Agriculture (Tufts University – 2021). Natalie was recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 for her contributions towards building the Tufts University Center for Cellular Agriculture. Previously, Natalie worked with New Harvest, Perfect Day Foods, Bond Pet Foods, Matrix FoodTech, and Ark Biotech.
