Shelly Simana is an Assistant Professor at Boston College Law School. Prior to joining BC, she was a fellow at Stanford Law School’s Center for Law and the Biosciences and a doctoral candidate at Harvard Law School. Her scholarship lies at the intersection of law and bioethics, focusing on ethical and legal challenges in genetics, reproductive technologies, and biotechnology. During her doctoral studies, Shelly was a teaching fellow at Harvard’s schools of law, medicine, and public health. She also served as a research associate at Harvard Kennedy School’s STS Program and as a visiting scholar at the NIH.
