Tiffany Gommel, MS, CIP

Tiffany Gommel is the Director of the Office of IRB Operations (IRBO) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the Intramural Research Program. She is responsible for the operation and support of the NIH IRB, which reviews and approves human subjects research from the 27 Institutes/Centers across the NIH. Tiffany has a BS in Biology from SUNY Brockport, NY & a MS in Health Care Admin. from the Univ. of MD. She has worked in the field of clinical research for over 24 years, holding various positions such as IRB Analyst, Ed. Specialist, QI Manager & IRB Director.
