Tom Salazar is the Chief Research Oversight and Compliance Officer at Travis Air Force Base in Northern California. He previously held various research compliance roles at UC Davis’ Office of Research. He has developed multiple publications on bioethics and research compliance, with topics ranging from psychedelic drugs to neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and space research. He received his M.S. in cognitive neuroscience from UC Davis in 2017 and his J.D. with a concentration in health law from McGeorge School of Law in 2022.
