Yvette Pearson, PhD, is a Professor of Philosophy and Interim Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs and Strategic Initiatives at Old Dominion University. She is an award-winning teacher who has taught a variety of philosophy courses for nearly three decades, including bioethics, logic, technology, and the humanities. She has published articles on a wide range of topics, including robot ethics, reproductive ethics, ethical issues in genetics, and crisis management ethics. She is also the co-author of Crisis Communication and Crisis Management: An Ethical Approach. Dr. Pearson is also an associate editor for Science and Engineering Ethics and the Online Ethics Center.
