back arrow Back To News

A new module titled Introduction to RCR will be available on 1 February 2016. It is designed to be part of the RCR Basic course and will automatically be added to RCR Basic learner groups for no additional fee. This module introduces concepts and principles related to what has come to be known as the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), and provides an overview of the subject matter covered in CITI Program’s RCR courses.

Audience

Introduction to RCR is primarily intended for any learner who is going to complete the RCR Basic course. The new content provides the learner with a framework for understanding why RCR has become such an important subject area.

How to Proceed

No action is needed by a subscribing organization to incorporate the new module into its RCR Basic curriculum. However, if your organization prefers to not add the new module, please notify us prior to 1 February 2016. Please note that when this change is implemented, the current RCR Introduction and Conclusion modules (1522 and 1043) will be removed from all gradebooks.
