Dr. Meghan Barrett is an assistant professor of biology at Indiana University Indianapolis where she studies insect neuroscience, physiology, and welfare. She earned her PhD in Biology and MS in Education in 2022 at Drexel University before completing an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biology at Cal State University Dominguez Hills in 2023. She is Director of the Insect Welfare Research Society.
