Beth Irwin is an IRB Committee Coordinator with the University of California, San Francisco’s Human Research Protection Program (HRPP), where she coordinates agendas and processes new studies that require expedited or convened review by the Mission Bay cardiology committee. Beth earned her MA in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University, her Teaching Certification from the University of Iowa, and is CIP-credentialed. The last two decades of her career have also focused on supporting youth in her community, including work at a juvenile detention facility, as a high school teacher, as a mental health provider, and volunteering at her son’s school.
