Casey Mumaw, MA, CIP

Casey joined IU’s HRPP in 2011, earned his CIP credentials in 2013, and serves as the Assistant Director leading the SBE team and as an IRB member. In addition to reviewing protocols and supervising staff, he also provides input on HRPP policy, expertise on regulations and ethical issues related to SBE research, and training to IU researchers. He has also been a speaker at AAHRPP’s annual conference, PRIM&R’s AER, the California State University IRB Forum, OHRP’s 2022 RCF, and the Anatomy Educational Research Institute’s annual conference. In addition, Casey is a regular contributor to PRIM&R’s IRB Forum.
