Dr. Shihabuddin has a diverse background spanning more than 15 years in healthcare. As a nurse practitioner and academician, she focuses on quality improvement and evidence-based practice. Through her years in academia, she has published on classroom education techniques, LGBTQIA2+ health, and various aspects of HIV care. Courtney received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and her Master of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Northwestern University.
