Jacob Kolman is the senior scientific writer at the Center for Outcomes Research, Houston Methodist, and research associate at the Applied Cognitive Ergonomics Lab, Texas A&M University. Mr. Kolman obtained an MA in Philosophy (Rice University) and BA in English and Philosophy (Austin College). He has published literature reviews and philosophical essays on research ethics and medical professionalism; during graduate training, he contributed to a compendium of over 7,000 distinct ethical and methodological standards of clinical research including regulatory, professional, and industry sources. Today he helps interdisciplinary colleagues produce peer-reviewed research outputs conforming to the highest standards of reporting guidelines.
