Kris West, JD, MS

Kris West is the Director for Research Compliance and Ethics at COGR, an association of research intensive institutions. She provides regulatory analysis, policy perspective, and advice to COGR members. Previously, she worked for Emory University’s, first as an attorney and later as Chief Compliance Officer. She provided compliance guidance/oversight for the IRB, IACUC, and other research compliance units. She teaches FDA law as an adjunct professor a Loyola University Chicago. Ms. West holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland, a J.D. from Mercer University, and a M.S. from the University of Florida in drug regulatory affairs.
