Laurel Anderson, BS, MT(ASCP)

Laurel Anderson, BS MT (ASCP), is a medical technologist and quality professional, working in blood banking for 25 years, from crossmatching and immunohematology reference labs, to quality control, to quality management and regulatory affairs, to process improvement for donor collection and recruitment. Laurel has been an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Laurel joined NMDP in June 2021, as the Quality Program Manager for the NMDP Seattle apheresis center, which opened in February 2020. The center achieved and maintains CAP and FACT accreditations. The center has collected over 1500 life-saving cellular therapy products, testing over 7500 product and donor samples.
