Marine Biological Laboratory

I am from San Diego and earned my bachelor’s degree in ecology, behavior, and evolution at UC San Diego. After graduating from Kansas State University’s veterinary school in 2004, I completed an internship and a master’s degree in veterinary anesthesia at Purdue University. In 2008, I moved to Cape Cod with my family and worked in general practice and emergency medicine. My interest in aquatic and exotic animals led me to the Woods Hole Science Aquarium and Capron Park Zoo. Since 2017, I’ve worked at the Marine Biological Laboratory, overseeing animal health and welfare while contributing to research and teaching.
