Madeline Jones, BS, MS

Boston University

Madeline is a bioengineer with career goals of working in nerve regeneration after injury using biomaterials. She is currently working on her second master’s degree at Boston University in Human Physiology. Previously she obtained a master’s in microbiology and immunology at Georgetown University and a bachelors in bioengineering and neuroscience at Syracuse University. Since the beginning of her journey in higher education in 2019, her service dog, Copernicus, has accompanied her. Experiences of inaccessibility into these spaces led Madeline to advocate for more inclusive laboratory environments so that the voices and ideas from individuals with disabilities can contribute to science.
