Mais Hamdawi, MD

Johns Hopkins University

Mais is a Medical Doctor with extensive experience in clinical research and program development. Since 2020, she has contributed to over 50 research studies at Johns Hopkins across multiple departments. She designed and leads the Research Personnel Onboarding Program, which has delivered more than 6,000 training hours since 2022 to support new research staff. In addition, Mais manages the Research Coordinator Support Service and the Coordinator Apprenticeship Program, both of which enhance the institution’s research capacity and workforce readiness. She holds an MBChB from Baghdad University and is passionate about improving research operations and solving complex challenges in clinical research
