Michael Linke, PhD

Mike obtained a doctorate in Pathology from the University of Cincinnati in 1993 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Research Foundation in 1995. He retired as a Health Science Officer from the Cincinnati VAMC after over 30 years of service in 2018. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the UC College of Medicine and served as chair of the UC IRB from 2004-2024. Mike led the formation of the StrokeNet Central IRB in 2014. The StrokeNet Central IRB is overseeing 10 StrokeNet studies at over 900 sites. He leads the SMART IRB Training and Educational Team.
