Michael D. Mann, PhD

Dr. Mann was a member of the UNMC Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology for 35 years, teaching neurophysiology to the broad range of medical profession and graduate students. He authored a textbook (The Nervous System in Action) as well as developed a self-testing tool (NeuroQuiz) for medical students. He served the UNMC Institutional Care and Use Committee for more than twenty years, first as a general member and then as chairperson. He has been active in the CITI Program’s Animal Care and Use content area for more than 15 years.
