Philip A. Chan, MD, MS, is an Associate Professor and infectious diseases physician in the Department of Medicine and School of Public Health at Brown University. Dr. Chan is Chief Medical Officer at Open Door Health, a community-based clinic in Providence, as well as Medical Director for the Rhode Island Department of Health Division of Preparedness, Response, Infectious Disease and EMS (PRIDEMS). He has led statewide efforts to address the COVID-19 pandemic and has significant experience in clinical and public health policy aspects related to infection control.
