Sebastian Cajas, MSc, BEng

Sebastián Andrés Cajas Ordoñez is a Senior AI Scientist at CeADAR, Ireland’s National Centre for AI, specializing in generative AI, quantum machine learning, AI alignment, and federated learning. His work spans healthcare, education, and industry, with a strong focus on building trustworthy, high-impact AI systems. As an active contributor to MIT Critical Data, Sebastián has led multimodal AI projects with international collaborators. He holds a Joint Erasmus Mundus M.Sc. in Image Processing & Computer Vision and a B.Eng. in Electronics, and is passionate about embedding human values such as curiosity, humility, and resilience into real-world AI applications.
