This course is designed to provide information on new delivery models of cardiac rehabilitation through the use of telemedicine and the associated technology, as well as increase provider knowledge regarding telehealth cardiac rehabilitation programs and their best practices and considerations, through the discussion of indications, advantages, and criteria for offering telehealth cardiac rehabilitation services. This module will present the core components in developing a telehealth cardiac rehabilitation program as well as describe different models of telehealth cardiac rehabilitation delivery and examine safety, regulatory, and financial considerations of a telehealth cardiac rehabilitation program.
