Description
This webinar provides an overview of health disparities while raising awareness of the issue in research design and conduct. It discusses how implicit bias and ways of communicating perpetuate disparities and discrimination in clinical research and healthcare. It also provides information about resources for researchers and discusses strategies to build strong and diverse research teams, while facilitating more diverse and inclusive research practices.

Nancy maintains an ongoing commitment to build strong and diverse research teams and promote inclusive practices in research. She develops training to guide and mentor researchers. Nancy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
