In 2019, the CITI Program’s base subscription fee will increase for existing organizational subscribers. This increase will be reflected in renewal invoices that renew beginning 1 January 2019.
The new base subscription rates will be as follows:
- Non-profit and government organizations: $4,000 USD annually, per site
- For-profit organizations: $4,500 USD annually, per site
In past years, CITI Program has increased its subscription rate in two year cycles. The last increase was in 2017. The increase in subscription fees reflects our costs for new courses and modules added to the “base subscription” program over the past two years, as well as costs associated with adding new utilities and functions to the course site to render it more user-friendly for learners and institutional administrators.
As a reminder, the base subscription includes access to Animal Care and Use (ACU), Conflicts of Interest (COI), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Subjects Research (HSR), Information Privacy and Security (IPS), Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), and Revised Common Rule courses.
Some of the existing fees for additional series including Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC), Disaster Planning for the Research Enterprise (DPRE), Essentials of Research Administration, and Export Compliance (EC) have also changed.
