Public Meeting: FDA Rare Disease Day 2026

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will host Rare Disease Day, a virtual public meeting, on Monday, February 23, 2026, in observance of Rare Disease Week. With the theme “Moving Forward. Looking Ahead. An Event for Patients,” the meeting will focus on strengthening engagement and collaboration with patients and their communities to support and accelerate the development of medical products for rare diseases. The event will also highlight opportunities for patients to connect with FDA and participate in ongoing outreach and engagement efforts to ensure patient perspectives inform medical product development and regulatory decision-making.
