Strengthening Small Business and HBCU Collaborations to Advance Research Conference

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Small Business Program Office (SBPO), will host a conference highlighting the current state of biomedical research at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The event will convene stakeholders across sectors to support innovation in alignment with Presidential Executive Order 14283.
The conference will focus on building partnerships and expanding opportunities for HBCUs and small businesses through:
- Efforts to strengthen research capacity and funding pathways
- Panel discussions and breakout sessions to encourage knowledge exchange and advance health-related research
