The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Office of Data Sharing will host its Third Annual Data Sharing Symposium, “How Data Advances the Impact of Cancer Research,” on September 30 and October 1, 2025, at the NCI Shady Grove Campus in Rockville, MD. This two-day event will bring together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, patients, advocates, and trainees from across government, academia, and industry to explore the critical role of data sharing in accelerating cancer research.

Through engaging discussions and collaborative sessions, attendees will examine how a culture of open data and scientific collaboration can drive more impactful cancer research outcomes. The symposium highlights the importance of leveraging shared data to enhance scientific discovery and improve patient outcomes.
