General Summary/Objective:
The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Business Development / Sales department at BRANY with a variety of sales and administrative tasks. These tasks include assisting with developing and managing client relationships, preparing proposals and contracts, setting up meetings and demonstrations with clients, researching and following up with leads, and assisting with all departmental related assignments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Promptly triage and process lead generation opportunities that result from email blasts and website traffic.
2. Provide clients with high quality customer service; respond promptly to inquiries from leads and clients.
3. Schedule meetings and demonstrations as requested for sales leadership.
4. Update CRM systems like Salesforce or other related databases with contact information and other pertinent details to ensure proper tracking of clients and lead opportunities.
5. Working closely with sales department leadership, follow-up on business leads as directed.
6. Support sales leadership with post-conference activities such as adding contacts to CRM system, call and / or email contacts as directed.
7. Carryout lead generation research projects using tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn and Google to gather contact info including names, emails, phone numbers.
8. Contribute ideas for additional lead generation projects and initiatives.
9. Support sales team by assisting with the development of proposals, and/or preparing and circulating new client agreements.
10. When agreements are circulated, ensure their prompt completion. Circulate final documents internally to proper points of contact. Update databases as applicable.
11. Facilitate conference attendance for sales team by completing registration paperwork, secure hotel rooms, assist with travel arrangements, and when exhibiting make appropriate arrangements for proper booth setup at conference center, arrange for appropriate swag, flyers etc.
12. Generate pipeline reports for regularly scheduled business development meetings
13. Respond to calls and emails promptly and accurately. Escalate questions to sales leadership as needed.
14. Assist business development/sales by attending trade shows and conferences if needed
15. Assist business development/sales department staff with other activities as needed.
16. Use communication skills to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and BRANY staff.
17. Interact with BRANY staff from other departments to satisfy requests from leads and clients, and to perform duties assigned as part of this role.
18. Use writing skills to effectively communicate via email and written correspondence.
19. Works independently, take initiative and troubleshoots daily routine problems as they occur. Develops or recommends a plan of corrective action for non-routine complex issues.
20. Work as a team member on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. (*)

Education required:
Bachelor’s degree in health/science related area preferred
Experience Required:
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook at intermediate level. Salesforce and/or CRM experience preferred.
Qualifications:
Current knowledge of research operations, IRB regulations, and/or proprietary software applications preferred.

Physical Demands and Environment:
This position operates in an office environment using standard office equipment. It is largely a deskbound role. The position requires the individual to see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers, and reach with hands and arms.

Salary/Exempt Status:
$60,000 – $65,000/Exempt
