Barbara Bierer, M.D., a hematologist-oncologist, is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Bierer is faculty director of the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center of BWH and Harvard, Director of Regulatory Foundations, Ethics, and Law, Harvard Catalyst, and Director of Regulatory Policy for SMART IRB.
