Molly Klote is a physician-executive and nationally recognized leader in human research protections, research oversight, federal policy, and enterprise research operations. She previously served as Director of the HHS Office for Human Research Protections, Deputy Chief Research and Development Officer for Enterprise Support at the Veterans Health Administration, and Director of the Army Human Research Protections Office. A retired U.S. Army Colonel, she has chaired three IRBs and run two large medical center-based research programs. She is President of Klote Medical Research Advisors, advising research organizations on ethics, regulation, clinical trials, and institutional education and oversight.
