Description

Research Security: A Basic Course (Refresher) provides an overview of research security requirements, describes researcher responsibilities and best practices, and examines a case study highlighting real behaviors that led to research security violations.

Organizations may consider different options for delivering research security training to meet agency requirements. This one-module course was created for organizations that want to include research security training as part of their RCR refresher offerings. Organizations must subscribe to both the Research Security and Responsible Conduct of Research series in order to use modules from both series.

Note: This course joins our Research Security series, which includes the National Science Foundation’s more extensive Research Security Training, the SECURE Center’s Research Security Training (Combined) and RCR Research Security Training, and CITI Program’s Research Security Advanced Refresher and Research Security: A Basic Course.
