Colin Duckett, PhD, is the Vice Dean for Basic Science at Duke University School of Medicine, where he is a professor and the interim chair of the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology. He received his PhD in biochemistry from the University of London, and completed his postdoctoral work at the University of Chicago. Prior to his recruitment to Duke, he previously held senior positions at the National Cancer Institute, NIH, Bethesda; the Department of Pathology, University of Michigan Medical School; and Baylor College of Medicine/Baylor Scott & White Research Institute in Houston/Dallas.
