Dana Scott Mills, PhD, is Associate Dean of Research and Strategic Planning at Nova Southeastern University’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice. A psychologist and research methodologist, he has more than 20 years of experience in graduate education, research design, statistics, program evaluation, and doctoral mentorship. His teaching and research span psychology, education, public health, counseling, and the health sciences. Dr. Mills has served as principal investigator, co-investigator, program evaluator, statistical consultant, and research mentor on numerous applied and funded projects, with particular interests in community-based research, behavioral health, and evidence-based practice.
