Dr. Ellen Mink is an experienced researcher, educator, and leader in quantitative methods. After earning her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University at Buffalo, she began her career as a research scientist, serving as a co-investigator on multiple NIAAA- and NIDA-funded longitudinal studies on addiction, children, and families. An academic at heart, she later transitioned to teaching, sharing her expertise in research methods, statistics, and psychology. As an educational leader, she mentors faculty and doctoral students in research strategy, methodology, and publication, equipping them with the skills and drive to conduct meaningful, high-quality research.
