Ellen Mink, PhD

Ellen drives institutional assessment efforts at Westcliff, analyzing learning outcome data to strengthen program quality and student success. She brings over 20 years of experience in research design, human subjects protection, and doctoral education. As former Director of Research and Scholarship at Capella University, she oversaw institution-wide dissertation research, supporting hundreds of doctoral students and faculty in IRB navigation and ethical study design. Her earlier work as a research scientist on NIH-funded longitudinal studies involved protocol implementation and regulatory compliance. She has chaired numerous dissertations and collaborated on countless IRB applications throughout her career.
