Erin Hillis, PhD

Erin Hillis, PhD is the Executive Director of the Buckman Center for Global Engagement and senior international officer (SIO) at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Responsible for comprehensive internationalization and international education, she has over 15 years of experience in the field of immigration regulatory compliance. Her PhD is in Applied Linguistics from The University of Memphis; she instructs a two-course TEFL sequence, culminating in a 150-hour TEFL Certificate for Rhodes’ Educational Studies department. She is a member of the Phi Beta Delta honor society for international scholars and has served as Chair for NAFSA Region VII.
