Dr Green is the Director of the Office of Human Subjects Research Protections at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), overseeing the human research protection program for the NIH Intramural Research Program. Before joining the NIH in 2018, Dr. Green was a Professor of Medicine, Pathology, and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, MO, where he conducted basic and translational research on the mechanisms of T-cell activation. Dr Green is also an active clinician board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine.
