A self-described human research ethics nerd, Moore has contributed to the human subjects research enterprise at academic institutions for 30 years, both as staff conducting a wide range of biomedical and social/behavioral research and as an HRPP professional. Before joining the OHRPP at UCLA, Moore spent 12 years specializing in clinical pediatric research ethics supporting the HSPP at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. In her current position as Assistant Director for Education and Quality Improvement, Moore leads a team engaged in educating stakeholders in human research regulations, conducting post-approval monitoring, and providing HRPP QI.
