Terry Adirim, MD, MPH, MBA

Terry Adirim is Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Professor of Pediatrics and Chair, Department of Integrated Medical Science at the Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. Previously, she spent over ten years as a senior executive in the federal government most recently as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, one of the most senior physicians for the Military Health System. Dr. Adirim has also held executive and senior level policy positions in the U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services and Homeland Security, including serving as a senior health official during the 2009-H1N1 pandemic.
