Wendy Epley serves as Associate Director for Research Cybersecurity at Arizona State University, where she focuses on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management to protect sensitive research data and support regulatory compliance. She brings nearly two decades of experience in regulatory trade compliance and cybersecurity GRC, with deep expertise in frameworks such as CMMC and federal safeguard requirements. Wendy was the architect of the University of Arizona’s Research Cybersecurity Assurance (RCA) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) programs. She holds Certified CMMC Professional and Registered Practitioner Advanced credentials and collaborates closely with researchers, IT, and compliance partners to enable secure research.
