The 32nd Anniversary of the ADA and HHS’s Recent Enforcement Efforts

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) celebrates its 32nd anniversary while continuing to affirm the inherent dignity of every person, regardless of disability. The HHS Office of Civil Rights has released highlights of their recent efforts towards two specific goals – achieving the promise of the ADA through enforcement and making clear that the ADA guarantees the rights of people with disabilities to nondiscrimination.
