Roles and Responsibilities of an IACUC Chair

Outlines the chair's qualifications for and role in the IACUC, and provides guidance on carrying out the chair's duties, in keeping with ethical principles, regulations, policies, and procedures. It also describes the ideal relationship between the IACUC chair, the IACUC administrator, IO, and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC).
