Overview of SBIR and STTR Programs

This module introduces the SBIR and STTR programs and learners explore the overall purpose of these programs. The module provides a discussion of the key similarities and fiferences between SBIR and STTR funding. The module concludes with a discussion of different ways to access an organization’s readiness for SBIR or STTR funding.

Federal Agencies with SBIR and STTR Progarms

In this module, learners review the primary mission of SBIR-STTR participating agencies as a foundational step to then evaluating the “fit” of an agency mission with their own objectives. The module ends with steps to help learners develop a strategy for approaching the targeted agency.
